It will be typical of us to perform awful tonight and lose then go and get a result against United.
A win tonight and a point or a win against United and I may start to think this season is going to be different.

I don't think a promoted team can expect anything and just hope to stay up really. Buying 76 shit players doesn't give them a devine right to expect anything the cheeky cunts.
I hope we fucking destroy them tonight, we certainly have it in our locker but struggle to find it regularly. Noble to do a job on that overrated showpony poof Grealish and keep the big lump quiet and we're golden. Will we? No of course not but I hope it's a rare good day and we fucking steamroller them. Smelly Brummy cunts.

They seem very confident on a Villa forum lots of goals from them they say. Kit stealers, cockney wankers , bad travellers are just a few comments from the Villa fans.
“We should be winning games like this” they say and that they have looked on our forums to see we say the same.
My head says draw but my heart says 2-0. It really is a game where we can see if we have turned the corner with mental strength. The extra time to recover for Yar and Lanzini will help. If we get the first goal and don’t give their fans a chance to create the tempo then we could go on to a comfortable win.
I really don’t see this any different to any West Ham game it all depends on which West Ham team turns up.
For me the thing we have this season that changes everything is Haller an absolute match winner right there. It’s early of course but with him in the team I can see victories from games we don’t perform providing our defence can hold out. Games where it’s all square if he gets a chance then mostly he will score.

Tonight will see if we've progressed from last season
Last season we seemed to have about 7 games which if we wont we went 7th and lost every single one
Tonight is a fantastic chance they are beatable at home just need to stop Mcginn and Grealish

3 points at Villa then beat Man U at the OS the following week and things will start to heat up in the club plus the media. Could be very interesting. Shades of '86
The players and the manager will be aware of the significance of their chance to set a mark in today's footie obsessed world, you can count on that..

If so that is excellent news. Not that he's a world beater but he's the sort of player that will trouble us.
